Quaid's Flathead Lake Senior Session

 

An evening of golden sun, flathead waves, and sibling laughs


This photoshoot was definitely a different vibe than anything else I've done, and why wouldn't it be when its the funniest shoot with my younger brother. Quaid and I have always been close, and I truly think I win the title for having the world's best sibling. Sorry, everyone else... With that being said, I love to celebrate all his wins big or small! And man did this photoshoot celebrate a big win! Quaid is graduating from FVCC in Kalispell Montana with his HVAC certificate!


Of course a senior grad session photoshoot was needed to show off this big milestone, and of course get those grad cards ready in the mail. We decided to keep it simple and get the main poses that Mom needed, but spent the rest of the time capturing him in his element... goofing around. Each photoshoot I do is always going to mimic who I have in front of the camera, that is what I love about photography. So getting to capture my younger brother be himself was incredible. Not to mention, these photos take place right on Flathead Lake, where we grew up. We spent our summers surfing, performing on kneeboards, and laughing until the sun went down. Being able to capture these photos in the place that built us was so special.


I truly pinch myself every time I see that lake, I can't believe it is right out our front door here in Northwest Montana.
